I'm doing a ceramics project, and I need to create a stylized piece of functional pottery that is related to a culture of my choice. Which culture do you think would have elegant, subtle pottery that I can get inspired from? Any links please? I'm really interested in ancient pottery too. Thanks so much!

Mayan pottery is very unique, but not at all subtle, it' bold but attractive.

Incan is very interesting as well.

Roman pottery is very functional, but not quite as creative.
