place a broken pottery in the pot in order to hasten the softening of meat?
Physics question .. Help?
Some people put a piece of broken pottery in the pot to speed up the softening of the flesh. this is science and why?
Boken pieces of earthen pot or rather absorb the heat .. Therefore, passes its heat to the meat .. approach scientist called .. conduction heat transfer in contact .. pot by placing pieces of meat increases the meat surface in contact with the clay, so increasing the conduction process that accelerates the softening of the flesh .. or you can also put spoons and forks, because they are metal and the heat too quickly .. Brilliant eh?
